Ric and I have been at our instruments for almost a century between the two of us, and it shows in every note we play. But, it\u2019s more than just your standard acoustic fiddle and guitar doing traditional tunes. We do some of that, but our specialty is exploring popular music from the 1920\u2019s through the 1990\u2019s, from \u201cTake me out to the Ballgame\u201d, to a medley of \u201cKashmir\u201d by Led Zeppelin, and a spoof of Charlie Daniel\u2019s \u201cDevil went down to Georgia\u201d that we call \u201cThe Devil Comes Back\u201d. We also do quite a few of our own tunes (take a listen to “Cello Dreams”)<\/a><\/p>\n Second, we have been making our livings on stage since the 1970\u2019s. We know how to tailor our show for every audience. We never fail to make a connection, have fun, and move people. Believe it or not, we get standing ovations and encores even in backwoods Midwestern bars. Heck, they even invited us back to the punk rock club we stumbled into one night. Not just clubs either, we have played for numerous festivals in the Midwest, and always get a great crowd response.<\/p>\n Here’s a candid look at us from the Folk Alliance Midwest showcase this year:<\/a><\/p>\n AND…third, money, filthy lucre, business, OH my! We get it, we been around the block, we understand we are new to the touring circuit, and we won’t have the biggest draw in town. So, let’s work together to make things grow and thrive.
